Twenty-four
years ago, Breckwell began as a small, regional woodstove producer.
National Steelcrafters of Oregon, Inc. (NSO), Breckwell's corporate
identity, was the licensed manufacturer of Craft Stoves in the Pacific
Northwest. The company weathered the economic recession of the early
1980's, the emissions panic of the mid 1980's and finally found its
stride when the pellet stove revolution hit the industry in the late
1980's
Breckwell
was acquired by NSO in 1988. After a meteoric rise to the top of the
pellet stove market, the company expanded into gas fired appliances
in 1994.
Today,
Breckwell offers a full line of pellet, gas and wood burning appliances
from its facilities in Eugene, Oregon and Dallas, Texas. The company
continues to feature thorough customer service, refined design and
quality construction.
